My now-wife Jasmin and I spent MONTHS booking vendors; countless DMs, Google searches felt endless and platforms like Hitched just weren’t built for South Asian weddings. I kept asking myself “How is there not a better way to do this??”.
That’s when Karim (my co-founder) and I knew something had to change. We built ShaadiSouk to make the whole process of booking wedding vendors simpler, faster, and more transparent for couples of our generation. We’re just two brown guys building the platform we wish existed for us!

Our mission is to modernise how couples plan their weddings by providing a trusted, centralised platform that takes the hassle out of finding, booking and paying vendors. Everything in this generation is all about convenience think Uber for taxis, Airbnb for holidays or Deliveroo for food, we are used to right now so that is what are going to do that for the wedding industry. We aim to save you time, simplify the wedding planning process, so you can focus celebrating your love and creating unforgettable memories.
